2.3 State Court Order: Ongoing Shutdown

A hearing was held in the Weld District Court in June 2025.  Due to unsolved safety breaches, including exposed wiring, construction debris risks, and a collapsed dome part, Judge Kimberly Schutt granted a preliminary injunction on July 7 ordering the stadium, dome, courts, and surrounding areas to remain closed.  Kunc, the town’s unfinished punch list from the previous year was still mostly unresolved.
